Holy Basil (Tulsi) Organic Herb - 15g
Tulsi (Indian Basil) has long been cultivated in Asia and used in the kitchen as a fragrant spice or as tea, or in medicine and aromatherapy.
Tulsi belongs to the family of labiate flowers, is a 1m high herbaceous perennial with fine hairy branches and serrated leaves growing on short stems. The bell-shaped, white flowers are in Scheinquirlen in 6-8cm long ears.
All parts of the plant growing above the ground are harvested fresh in early summer when the flowers have not yet fully opened and the active ingredient concentration is at its highest.
