How to use Rosin press 5T – OG5T?

Safety precautions

• Maximum 5 T bottle jack
• Point the head of bottle jack to the circle at the bottom plate
• No need to lock bottle jack on the bottom frame

Recommendation

• To prevent leaking, do not turn the bleed valve over 720 degrees (2 full revolutions)
• Open bleed valve slowly with a half revolution
• One person operation
• Keep out of reach of children

Here are the steps to use the Rosin press 5T - OG5T:

1. Power on the Rosin press and wait for it to heat up to the desired temperature. You can adjust the temperature using the digital temperature control. Please see PID controller settings below.

2. Take a piece of parchment paper and place your botanical material in the centre. Fold the parchment paper over the botanical material, ensuring that it is completely covered.

3. Place the folded parchment paper between the two plates of the Rosin press.

4. Adjust the pressure using the pressure knob. It is recommended to start with a lower pressure and increase gradually.

5. Press the button to activate the press. The plates will close, and pressure will be applied to the botanical material.

6. Wait for a few seconds (usually between 30-60 seconds), and then release the pressure using the pressure knob.

7. Open the Rosin press and remove the parchment paper. Your extracted rosin should be visible on the parchment paper.

8. Collect the rosin using a tool such as a dabber or scraper.

9. Repeat the process with additional botanical material as desired.

10. When finished, power off the Rosin press and clean any residue from the plates.

Remember to always follow the manufacturer's instructions and safety guidelines when using the Rosin press 5T - OG5T.
